Our PROMISES

Harrisons' Family
Promises

Everything we do is backed by a promise we're proud to stand behind

Family promises

At Harrisons, we do not sell cheap hardware that won’t last the distance.  We get offered that gear all the time and politely say “no thanks”. Every kiwi has cheaped out on the lowest cost tool for a DIY project, only to regret it when we’re halfway through the job, and it's broken. And the store you bought it from is closed. We don’t want you to do that with solar, as we get that solar is a big call.

To be good enough for you, it has to be good enough to install at our place.  That’s why our focus is on providing the best value for money in New  Zealand.
The Harrisons Best Price Promise means you can buy with confidence knowing you have purchased the best quality products from world-leading brands at a great price. Our aim is to provide you with the best “bang for buck” and ensure that you will never have to worry about Barry from down the road getting a better deal than you and bragging about it at the street  BBQ.

So if you end up finding the same or similar quality solar system from a  SEANZ Solassure accredited installer, in your local area at a lower price, we will gladly refund the difference.

Quality Promise
+

Our job is to provide you with the best system for your home and budget.  We prioritise quality products because we appreciate that your investment in a solar system is not one to cut corners on. After all, you are choosing panels that are built to last 30 years. That’s like choosing a partner for life!

Therefore, we partner with world leading brands that provide you with comprehensive warranties, reputable brands we are comfortable putting the Harrisons name behind. We’ve worked hard to build our reputation over  60 years, so we choose our brands very carefully before offering any product to our customers. This is one reason why we are New Zealand’s most trusted solar company.

We know that, while these warranties provide you peace of mind, they are between you and the manufacturer, and at times, the small print and the paperwork aren’t always straightforward. That’s why our local business owners and customer support team will help you make a claim if required, and we work with our suppliers to arrange replacement parts or products if needed. In fact, our teams love paperwork as much as our solar panels love sunshine.

Looking after you if something doesn’t go as planned is part of the  Harrisons service.

Service Promise
+

Harrisons is here to put you in the driver’s seat with your energy usage and support you - helping you make the most of your solar system. We will be with you right from our initial consultation at your place (we like having a chat over tea and biscuits to talk through the process). After that, our local business owners will be around like a loyal Labrador to provide ongoing support and expert technical advice if needed.

This may include setting up your system’s monitoring app and explaining what all of the data means, helping if you change your wifi router and can’t see what your system is doing, or tailoring your system settings to optimise the usage of solar when you add a new appliance, or the kids move out, or back in! Whatever the issue, big or small, we will go the extra mile to ensure  you are 5-star satisfied.

Harrisons has been a trusted Kiwi business for well over 60 years. Your panels are built to last for over 30 years. You can rely on Harrisons to be there to provide support when you need it over the lifetime of your system.

Workmanship Warranty
+

Sometimes mistakes happen. Not often, but they do. Where we have made a mistake, we will fix it. No fuss, no hassle – we will put it right. Any material errors or faults with the installation that appear during the first 10 years will be repaired at no cost to you, subject to the relevant terms and conditions.
